Although freemasonry is secular and multi-denominational, all candidates for membership must declare a belief in a Supreme Being. All candidates must also be of demonstrable good character.
The qualifying age for Freemasonry has recently been reduced by The United Grand Lodge of England from 21 years to 18 years.
Serious and eligible applicants should write for further particulars to the Lodge Secretary.
Please note that OmniUm Lodge of is governed by the Constitutions of the United Grand Lodge of England which, following the example of medieval stonemasons, is, and has always been, restricted to men. Women Freemasons have two separate Grand Lodges which are restricted to women.
Anyone interested in further information about women's freemasonry should contact either The Grand Secretary, The Order of Women Freemasons, 27 Pembridge Gardens, London, W2 4EF, telephone number 020 7229 2368, or The Grand Secretary, The Honorable Fraternity of Ancient Freemasons, 402 Finchley Road, Childs Hill, London NW2 2HR, telephone 020 7443 5268. The latter organisation also operates University Scheme Lodges that may be of interest to female university students.
